I always wondered what the difference was between Spanish and Portugese. Would I get by speaking Spanish to a person that only spoke Portugese? Would we both understand each other?

it is a very difficult language to learn . when i went there as an exchange student and was completely immersed into it i had to learn 5 words a day and then once you learn 5 words easily learn 10 more words plus that 5 per day...its a beautiful language and i hope you can learn it

spanish and portuguese is similar but very different
