Who first inhabited Brazil?
Who were the first people to live in Brazil? Are they still there today? What language did they speak?

Native Americans, obviously. I think there are some tribes throughout South America. As far as I know, all have had contact with the global community, but some still maintain their culture.

They were called Tupinambas or Tupis and spoke tupi. Very interesting language and I found out blue and green had the same word. They must have been colorblind like some man are?!

Do Brazilians today know how to speak these two languages? I am interested on this topic. So what is the national language of Brazil if there are 65 indigenous tribes? I assumed this 65 tribes has 65 different languages.
