    Burza Knives
Burza Atelier de Artes e Ofícios is a 10th-generation business started by a cossack and producing handcrafted knives in Tiradentes, Minas Gerais.

    Feira Hippie de Ipanema
Feira Hippie de Ipanema, Brazil's best-known arts and crafts fair, was started in 1968 by a group of hippies and has run every Sunday without fail ever since. Feira Hippie de Ipanema is popular with international and Brazilian tourists as well as Rio locals. Feira Hippie de Ipanema is a large fair selling authentic Brazilian crafts, one-of-a-kind folk and contemporary art, clothing, jewelry, and food. It is one of the best places in Rio to buy Brazilian crafts.

Started by a group of hippie and alternative Rio de Janeiro locals in 1968, Ipanema's Hippie Fair has been going strong without interruptions every Sunday since then. Open from 7a-7p, the fair is one of the best places in Rio to buy souvenirs. It's popular among international tourists as well as cariocas.

Monte Sião Blue and White Pottery
Brazilian blue and white pottery is made by Porcelana Monte Sião, in the namesake city of Monte Sião, in the southeastern state of Minas Gerais. According to the company's website, theirs is the only factory in Brazil that produces blue and white pieces. Although they also make beer mugs and issue some of their items in brown and white, those can't compare in popularity to the blue and white flower-patterned pottery which Brazilians have come to associate with the town.

Branded shoes and perfumes are really so expensive here, as we need to pay 100% of taxes in imported goods. But the best is to buy in free shops inside the international airports. But if you want to buy brazilian brands it is easier to go in a shopping mall.
