I don't really read sports history in Brazil but the most popular sport in Brazil is Football/Soccer. They really have a good team and can compete internationally including FIFA World Cup. Too many children in this country are in this kind of sport and you can barely see them on the streets dribbling balls or at the field juggling balls.

Brazil also has a very strong background in Volleyball. Gymnastics is also a hit, but not very popular and golf is starting to come on the scene. This is usually played by the elite in Brazil. Another popular sport here is swimming as well and boxing. These last two are more for Olympic competitions though.

Hi all. Brazil is FOOTBALL and VOLEY!

The most popular sport is football, and we Brazilians love to play and to see our team playing in the 2 most important championships: National Championship and Regional Championship. Each Brazilian support to a big team of his state. World Cups stop all the country, and Brazil becomes a big party!

Voley is the second most popular sport, and many Brazilians love to play voley on the beach. Itīs very nice! The male Brazilian team is one of the best teams of the world, and they play hard!
