    Default DIVING spots

I am a certified scuba diver and I want to know if there are great reefs and diving spots in Brazil. Do they have marine reserve? Information about transportation and other fees are highly appreciated.

Hi Barefoot, I can recommend the Arvoredo Island in Florianopolis, and they have a marine reserve. I never been there but I have many friends who visited this place for scuba diver. Have a look in the web about this place "Ilha do Arvoredo" and I am sure you will like it. There is a company called Parcel (www.parcel.com.br) and they provide visits to this place and also courses...

That would be great! And by the way, I tried visiting the link you provided above and I have a difficulty navigating the site because it is all written in Portuguese. The images are priceless though. I checked the pictures taken and the spot is very great! Can not wait to go there. Thank you!

Most of my friends in Brazil recommends Fernando de Noronha. They say that it's the most untouched spot in the archipelago. It is advisable for beginners to dive in the months of July to December and all year round for advanced divers.

Enjoy the beauty of the beach and don't forget to take safety measures anytime..

For diving, please visit Fernando de Noronha islands! Wonderful beaches for surfing and diving. Clean and clear waters. It is located far 300kms from the Continent. You have to take an plane from Recife, capital of Pernambuco state. Good infrastruture.

Please, visit and contact the following site of the best Scuba Diving in Fernando de Noronha: http://www.aguasclaras-fn.com.br/novo/index_port.htm.

You can dive with sharks at Lage Dois Irmaos, there they have a breeding and nursery area for
many different species of reef sharks. While diving you may witness turtles being released into the wild.
Also in that area is a sunken Portuguese frigate that you can explore. Much of the rock formations are magnificantly colored
with sponges and add a lovely background for all of your dives.
