    Default Cigars of Brazil

Brazil has some of the best cigars in the world. The combo of Brazil and Dominican olor and piloto was the choice of the Cuban expatriates to produce the cigars right after they fled from Cuba. This was the combination that they liked the most after testing many other combinations." Seijas uses mostly Mata Fina tobacco, which he describes as medium to strong, with a sweet taste and great aroma.

The Region of Bahia, Brazil is an area rich in cigar history. The Bahia region has cultivated the best tobacco for cigars in the world - the Mata Fina. Bahia also cultivates Mata Norte and Mata Sul tobacco, and the leaves of Sumatra - with their famous light appearance. Bahia, Brazil is a region hand carved by mother nature with tobacco perfectly suited for cigars, which gives them their unmatched flavor.

The Brazilian cigar wrapper is made of a dark brown to black in color after fermentation, with a mild to medium strength, rich flavor, and gives off a very aromatic fragrance, and has a natural sweetness that yields excellent Oscuro and Maduro wrappers.

You have definitely got to try Alonso Menendez Brazilian Cigars. The beautifully handmade cigars are made under the control of Felix Menendez who was originally based in Cuba, but moved to Brazil. These cigars have a dark wrapper and a sweet taste.

A cigar is a tightly rolled bundle of dried and fermented tobacco which is ignited so that its smoke may be drawn into the mouth. Cigar tobacco is grown in significant quantities in Brazil, Cameroon, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Honduras, Indonesia, Mexico, Nicaragua, Sumatra, Philippines, and the Eastern United States.

Did you know that Bahia Valley of Brazil, the climate is ideal for growing richly flavored tobacco. This is why some of the most well-known families in the industry now call Brazil home there.
