It lists the events in Brazil by month. Hope this was helpful. It was for me.
Brazil is famous for it's festivals all over the world. Brazilians like festivals very much and nearly every month this or that festival took place practically in every city, some of these feasts are religious and some secular but the most grandiose are Carnaval in Rio de Janeiro, Parintins' Boi-Bumba Folkloric Festival, Brazilian Grand Prix in Sao Paulo and New Year's Day.

Some of the popular festivals in Brazil are the Carnival, the Boi Bumba, Bumba Meu Boi, Festas juninas, Folclore Nordestino, and Cirio de Nazaré.
- The Carnival is held at the end of January/beginning of February. It starts on the Friday before Shrove Tuesday and it will last for five days.
During this festivity, there is are Carnival Balls held. These are glamorous affairs held in hotels.
- The Boi Bumba is a 3 day celebration held in June. They used super sized puppets to tell and retell the story of two slaves and a bull.
- The Bumba Mue Boi is held on either june/August. It is the original version of Boi Bumba. It is a longer celebration than Boi Bumba and performances are scheduled every night at Sao Luis.
- Fiestas Juninas is held in June where children dress up and paper balloons are sent into the sky, propelled by candles.
- Folclore Nordestino is held by the end of August at Olinda. This is a celebration of folklore and music of North East of Brazil.
- Cirio de Nazaré held in Belem during October. It is a religious festival where an image is carried to the basilica on the second Sunday of Octobe.
These are the well-known festivities in Brazil with some description. I hope it helps.
