Boa vista is the capital of the Brazilian state of Roraima. it is the only capital of Brazilian states which is situated clearly above the Equator. the most attractive places of this city is described below:

The biggest park of the north region of Brazil is placed here. the Anaua Park, a major recreational park that has inside it a Forrodromo (show place), a square, a lake and a kartracing facility.

Taumanam is a small artificial coast on Rio Branco. It has several stores and snack bars and was created in 2005.

Ayrton Senna complex is the most visited touristic area in Boa Vista, it is composed by Ayrton Senna, Velia Coutinho (Alimentation square and a show place), Praça das Águas (a square where there is a water show), Millennium portal (it was created to commemorate the 21's) and Praça das Artes (the newest and the largest squares of the complex, built together with park area).

I have heard that Palácio Boa Vista is one of the best cultural sights in Boa Vista.

Supposedly the art collections at Palácio Boa Vista are some of the finest to be found in Brazil.
Is this true and can someone give me more details on this attraction? Thanks.

While staying in Boa Vista, be sure to see Casa do Indio.
The museum in the Casa do Indio (House of the Indians) in Parque Anauá, on Avenida Eduardo Gomes, boasts a large collection of weapons, costumes and personal equipment of the Roraima Indians.

Be sure to vist Iguazu falls, where Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay share boundaries. I is so breath-takingly beautiful!!!

Kentlash, Where exactly are the coral reefs located in Brazil? What beaches would be most scenic for snorkling? I may plan a trip in the fall with my girlfried! Thank you in advance :-)

Another great attraction of Boa Vista isCasa da Arte e Cultura Julieta de Serpa. This historical building is a very popular cultural center. The french restaurant and the building by itself make the visit worth it. It's one of the few remaining houses, along praia do flamengo. Nice place to visit during weekdays for having lunch after a cultural review,

I´ve never been to Boa Vista yet, but it is a good city.
