Where do you get your news? How do you keep track of what's going on in Brazil?

For my local news I usually follow newspaper and for other countries I tend to prefer those forums rather than news sites.

Internet is the best source for me. I follow google and yahoo news to keep update of what is going around in my country and abroad as well.

I usually get news from television mainly everyday. I do get some news through net also. I am the type of person who likes to know what is happening around me though sometimes I get frustrated with all the crimes that are happening.

The newspaper, though old fashion, is still the source of my daily news. Then I go online to check on news that might not have made it in the newspapers.

online is good.. but what's greater than a morning cup of coffee n a newspaper,...

Internet and television are the best source of news.

I read the news from the internet, especially if there is a hot news item that will make the headlines of the newspapers the next day. I don't wait for the newspaper anymore, I go online for the latest update, then wait for the news on television for more updates.

I go through online newspaper sites since i'm not from Brazil. I am also viewing international news.. =D Also, i run some research in the internet..

I am from São Paulo city, and each Brazilian State has its own newspaper, so in São Paulo city, the most viewed newspapers are "O Estado de São Paulo" and "Folha de São Paulo" news.

At internet, the most viewed websites news are www.uol.com.br, www.globo.com, and www.terra.com.br.

I read the daily "Folha de São Paulo", because it is less political, and I see www.uol.com.br everyday.

It's internet as always. You can easily get the news online and its the fastest news source today.

yeah i agree internet in the main source of new as of now...it is fast. and you can get the latest news...

me too.. I usually opt to read news online. It's the fastest and most updated way for me to get on latest brazil news..

Well, I subscribe Folha de São Paulo news, www.uol.com.br, and Veja magazine for updates about Brazil.

internet is the best as of now....

Internet is good, but most of the press companies restrict the access to the information, that´s the problem.

I guess... that at the moment I am only using this Forum, which is not of a great help HAHA

there are a lot of nice websites providing daily information with everything you need to know about our country!

For me: Jornal Nacional, O Globo, Extra, O Dia, Balanço Geral (sometimes when the presenter is not screaming his lungs off about corruption) and Band News. With the access to the internet I occasionally log in to CNN, MSN to see what is happening in the world since most of these stations and newspapers only put emphasis on Brazilian news.

"Folha de São Paulo" news, www.uol.com.br website, and "Rede Globo" channel on TV.

I prefer meia hora for its cutting edge investigative journalism
