Default Bring a Digital Camera to Brazil?

Is there any reason not to bring a digital camera to Brazil? I have a digital camera, so it would be silly to buy another camera and pay to get film developed when I can just use my digital camera for free.

Why wouldn't you want to bring your digital camera? It's a waste not to.

The only reason not to bring one is if you do not have one. You could buy one, but that would run you a few hundred dollars probably.

I wonder if they have these services where you can deposit and borrow a camera a while then return them back and get back your deposit but with some fees, I heard someone did that in Europe though.

Don't know about that, but i think we should never take a chance. Camera is a must. I always carry a cam with me, whenever I am on a trip or vacation.

Yeah, just need to be careful not to lost it and I would bring my cheaper one as the quality is pretty much same except less features and stuff.

But make sure, the picture quality is good, else it will be worth not bringing one.

The picture quality is good, just it doesn't have those nifty ultra zoom features and such. Another thing don't forget those extra batteries and chargers, you might know you need it.

Well I don't have friends or knows anyone around me that been to Brazil before, pictures tells a thousand words they say, maybe you can post some pictures of your own when you get there as 2010 isn't that far. Maybe you can go during the world cup and see the situation over there.

Great !!!! We can therefore plan to meet in Brazil altogether in 2010, enjoying the beauty of the lovely place and at the same time Soccer World Cup . Don't worry I will get the most advance cam, so that nobody will have any problem.
Anyone more who want to join the list ??

someone will grab your camera on the beach, just this, so take a camera with wireless connection to backup your video in wireless way.
I'm joking, no danger for this, I saw often there are more photos and video about brazil then about italy..

Wherever I go... out of the country or not, Brazil or no Brazil, I always bring my digital camera and video cam with me. You wouldn't know what's in store for you outside.

Pictures are priceless. They can be the best thing to do when traveling. It is a great feeling to see all your pictures and remembering the good times when you're on that particular place. I always bring my digital camera wherever I go because I always take a picture to the things that are very interesting. Just make sure you have extra batteries and it is fully charged and always bring a camera bag to avoid misplacing the camera.

Yes, you may bring your own camera and use it in Brazil without any problem. Cameras are cheaper in U.S.A. than in Brazil, due to the high taxes in Brazil.

Yes, bring the digital camera to Brazil. It would not make any sense to buy one here if you already have on. Just carry it carefully and try not to make it too obvious in certain areas ok.

You should bring a professional camera like DSLR if you want to capture nice Brazilian butts. LOL
