    Default Native dishes of Rio

Hello guys, can you please suggest a few genuine Rio de Janeiro dishes? If a visitor is curious about Rio, what dishes should he try?

Hi Travelcook, in Rio de Janeiro you will find a very popular food composed with rice and black beans. Then, feijoada is one of the most popular and delicious food not only in Rio, but in all Brazil.

Churrasco is one of my favorite dishes of Rio. Waiters will slice off huge hunks of barbequed beef, pork, and other meats, serving them with manioc and onions, so delicious. Because of the close proximity to the sea means an unsurpassed selection of fine sea food, including fresh lobster, shrimp, shellfish, and numerous fishes. Oh, man I am getting hungry just thinking about it! :-)
