Sandwiches! I eat sandwiches most often. It's probably because they are so easy to make.

I would say rice because it's heavy meal and can last longer. But sometimes, fast food is preferable as it's fast and easy as well as more convenient. Plus, you can have it anywhere!

Kinda unfortunate I never had one before, I heard it taste really good... does it taste like those prawns or something? I do had raw stuffs before but only sushi and very rarely eat them, in fact not anymore since I find them not fresh here.

hauhauahu when i spent a year in brasil what we mostly ate was beans, rice meat and salad. and with the salad they would add oil, vinegar and maybe salt depending on how you like it. it is healthier and more deliciouse i think than our american salad dressing hauhau but i loved the churhascos!!!! (bbq) it is amazing and they totally beat us cuz they have amazing meat !

I mostly eat a good breakfast then I am right out the door on the move. Brazilian prefer simple breakfast comprising of coffee, milk, bread and jam, sometimes cheese and ham, with fresh fruit also. There may be mangoes, papayas, watermelons and avocado cream in addition to all those. The side dishes may vary with the city you are dwelling in.

    Hello all,

I am a native Brazilian from São Paulo city, and I just wanted to say that São Paulo is the best city to eat everything you want.

From Asian to European food, each Brazilian state has also typical foods such as barbecue (churrasco) in the south of the country (Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina, Paraná), "feijoada" very known by all brazilians but very prevalent in Rio de Janeiro (black beans with parts of pig), pasta such as pizza and macaroni in São Paulo, fish and sea fruits in the states of northeast region, and so on.

In São Paulo city, there is a wide variety of foreign foods and typical Brazilian foods, but we usually eat rice, beans, salad and meat as the main plate eveyday.

My favorite foods are feijoada, nhoque (a kind of pasta), tainha assada (a kind of typical fish roasted), sea fruits such as fried shrimp, roast chicken, and other.

The typical Brazilian food is very tasty and prepared with many diferent sauces.

Paulistanos (people who live in São Paulo city) love to eat Feijoada in the weekends,

Well, like "mprado" said above, rice+beans+meat is the daily combo for the paulistanos.

But there is one specific neighborhood in São Paulo that I really like, for its food and for its people. It is called Bairro do Bixiga, a traditional place with strong italian influences, and many italian "cantinas" (portuguese name for small restaurants) where you can find good wine, regional music, and delicious italian food made with the unique touch of the brazilians/italians from Bairro do Bixiga.

I'll definitely check that out when we visit Brazil. I'm craving for the food that you are saying and makes me want to go there right away.

Hello all, nice to see you again talking about Brazilian foods...mmmmm...it´s very nice. I appreciate to eat very well, and today I just ate the famous FEIJOADA!

Feijoada is a food usually prepared and served on Wednesdays in São Paulo, but you can find it and eat everyday in the right restaurants, no problem. I paid 30.00 USD for a complete feijoada, in other words, with all parts of the pig, and 3 or 4 persons can easily eat. Very good!

    I LOVE FEIJOADA!!!!!!!!!!!
