Do you know any good TV shows about Brazilian history?
Do you know any good TV shows about Brazilian history?
I don't know of any, but there are probably some educational kids shows that deal with history.
I would recommend Brazil: An Inconvinient History. It's a documentary about the history of brazil and very interesting. I bought my copy from www.seventh-art.com. A well made documentary.

I am not really fond of watching documentary but I am interested in history. Thank you for sharing this information to us, danblue.
I am not sure if you have the same cable and satellite channels available in Brazil as we do in the United States, but the "History Channel" and "History Channel International are excellent sources of broadening your knowledge of history around the world!
Satellite television is not widely available in Brazil, however, most developed urban areas will have access to cable. Many imported programmes on cable offer a choice of viewing languages. Cable channels include Italian, French and German channels among others.
Carlota Joaquina is a nice film about the brazilian history. But also you can find other topics for films online such as Vidas Secas, Central do Brasil and Deus e o Diabo na terra do Sol. They are not 100% about the history but shows good and bad parts about our people, history and day life.
