Back in 2008 there was a deadly outbreak of dengue in the city
of Rio. It killed many people and infected tens of thousands. The outbreak
causes fever, muscle pain and occasionally rashes and diarrhea and usually lasts about a week.

Because there are too many mosquitoes breeding in huge swamps of Brazil. I just saw it on TV and dengue is a very serious problem if not treated urgently. People should be aware of it and must visit a doctor if signs are visible. Few of noticeable signs are skin rashes, high fever and dizziness.

You heard about the legendary surfer Andy Irons who just passed away last year? It was dengue that took his life and they thought it was only a fever.
