Thread: Local or Global?

Do people in Brazil prefer to listen to local music artists or big global pop stars?

I listen to both. I can speak English, so I get to listen to all the U.S. pop stars and understand what they are saying. Still, I enjoy to listen to local Brazilian songs too.

Well if they can speak both languages they will base their preference on the music itself. If they can't speak both, then they will most likely listen to the music in their language. However, they might still enjoy some English music.

I got one friends in Sao paolo, he told me most of brazilian are prefer to their music and they not really interested with international pop star anyway the next generation are start to exposed with some big global pop stars
