Thread: music for a brazilian party please

hi there everyone im new to this forum

i am in ireland
i work as a latin music dj, but i play all spanish music like salsa cumbia etc..

and some local brazilians asked me to do a party for them unfortunatly i dont know anything about brazilian music
but i want to make them really happy that they asked me to do this

can any of you guys give me some classic brazilian suggestions to get everybpdy having a good time at the party please?


all i need for a 4 hour set is 40 songs,

it has to include

• stuff that the girls will like
• stuff that will make the people dance
• and stuff that is really relevant in brazil
• and all time classic songs

i know they like forro anyway so i got some (avioes du forro)
and i have a couple of random "funk" songs, but apart from that im lost

any help would be greatly appreciated my friends thankyou
the party is this saturday

Please, avoid funk music, because a few Brazilian people enjoy this kind of music.
