Post What musical instrument should you play

Piano, guitar, harmonica, bass guitar, drums, mandolin, ukelele...I'd like to be a really good multinstrumentalist, like Paul McCartney or Steve Winwood. Those of you who play instrument(s), what songs, albums etc., do you like to play/jam to?

Hello Trisha, I have been playing drums for over 25 years, so that is my instrument of choice. I know percussion is really important in Brazilian music, so I think I would fit in good there :-)

Some people are born with extraordinary talent but natural talent can only get you so far. If you want to be the best at what you want you need to practice, learn from others and commit yourself to becoming better.

Yes Trisha, I agee with you.

Take a look at the fantastic Stevie Wonder, who has done the best show in Rock in Rio 2011, so far.

He is blind, however, he is one of the best musicians in the world.

He was great in Rock in Rio!

I love piano, I love to hear songs on piano. I would like to learn piano, but to be a good pianist I will need about 7 or 10 years of hard training...lol...My God.

You can never really be a "good" pianist. It's a lifetime journey. The goal is not to become a good pianist, but a good musician rather. Being a pianist is merely a tool. A pianist is a musician first and foremost, who expresses his or her musical ideas through the piano.
