This is a beautiful place that I recommend for a honeymoon or take friends. The beaches are beautiful and the water is very clear. Also the people there are really nice. I visited this place 8 years ago and I really enjoyed. For who never heard about, Porto de Galinhas is in Pernambuco and is one of the major touristic destination, and located 60km from Recife. I took a flight to Recife and from there a van from the hotel was already waiting for me and my friends in the Airport. I chose this place also because was voted one of the best brazilian beaches to visit.

Yeah, this place is quite famous in Brazil and just by being on the beaches it is easy to understand why. In addition to this, it is quite--away from the hassle in large cities. I would suggest grabbing a glass of caipirinha and ordering some fish and chips while you sit on just about any of the beaches. Summer time is the best time to visit given the intense heat and liveliness that intoxicates the place. However, if you no not like too much sun then not to worry-- there are hundreds of beach umbrellas for a tiny price being offered by vendors.
