    Default Florianopolis apartment with Internet

When is the best time of year to go to Florianopolis, and what are the prices for a one bedroom apartment (one month) near the beach that also has an Internet connection? Can anyone recommend a good place?

    Default about Florianopolis

Florianopolis is situated in the southern part of Brazil and it is the capital of Santa Catarina State. mainly this place is very much popular for its clean and calm beaches with white sand and most attracted Cristal clear water.
i don't think that the apartments are too much expensive. you can get a one bed room for around 70-80$ per night. but most of the apartments are rented for a minimum of 1 month with an advance payment. you can easily get a room in the beach area and make your vacation more homey.
NB: you will get a free internet access and also wireless internet with a minimum cost.
    thanks

Lagoa Hostel offers you the best place to stay in Florianópolis. Located in the heart of Lagoa da Conceição , within a 100 meters of everything you need. That is Bars and Pubs (with live music shows every day of the week), ATMs, Supermarkets, Coffee shops, Restaurants, the Lake and the only terminal in Lagoa from which you can get a bus to anywhere in Floripa (and its 42 beaches).

I usually book 1 to 2 days in a hotel, then when I get there, I try to scout nearby hotels , then I transfer!

yes its the real way to save money. when i was visiting Uruguay, i told one of my friend to book a hotel. he was a very busy person. he booked a bit expensive hotel. but when i reached there, just after taking my dinner i walked for a few hours just to visit the area and in the mean time i looked for hotels. successfully i got a very cheap hotel just 2 minutes walking distance from the old one! so remember this story when ever you are out for a visit.

The best time is in February!!! Avoid January because is too crowded and you will be stuck for at least 1h to travel around the city. It's chaotic! I lived there before... You will find good internet connection there but if you struggle you can buy the keyport 3G and pay monthly trough the phone companies. It's not the same thing but it will help if you don't find a flat or house with internet cable. Where to stay? Depends what you like, really. If you love surf and waves go to Lagoa da Conceicao. If you prefer a nice and friendly environment go to Jurere or Ingleses. Also, Armacao and Pantano do Sul is nice, very old area in the city, you will feel in the 50's living there!

that's great! but still.. it depends on person's personality.. if your homebody/introvert type, make sure that you're not in a wrong place for you to have a good stay!! enjoy!
