in Brazil the Fortaleza is well known for shopping. you can get a lot of products and accessories here at a good rate. mainly the leather goods and ceramics are very popular to shop from here.
For good prices you should skip the tourist boutiques and try either the Mercado Central or the Feirinha Beira Mar; these two places have a large number (over 100) of stalls selling all kinds of handicraft and regional product, and competition drives prices down

Shopping Aldeota - This is one of the biggest Malls in Fortaleza, and one of the nicest ones too. It is also located in a very nice area of the city, Aldeota. It is close to most of the hotels so if you are staying at a hotel on Beira mar it is just up the street

Fortaleza’s new Central Market is a modern building that includes many stands, drugstore, restaurants and snack bars. The handicrafts section of the market created by locals is a great attraction!

Yes, you can buy lots of stuffs in the central markets located in the city, and on the streets.

There are lots of excellent products handmade, with excellent prices.

If you like arts and crafts the Fortaleza, Brazil based Ceart is a must visit!
The beautifully state-run craft store sell lace, ceramics, woven baskets and bags, leather goods and textiles.

In São Paulo there is a street named 25 de Março which concentrates cheap clothes and other stuffs, and in Santa Efigênia district concentrates cheap eletronics.
