What about this new lady President? Is she any good?
Hi there,
My girlfriend is Brazilian and I studied international law with some politics subjects. I am very interested to know about this new lady president. Are you brazilian people happy with her? Any changes in the government? I don't wanna create a debate here I just want to learn a bit about the changes of the system....thanks

Yes, Dilma Rousseff was one of the responsible for some improvement in infrastructure of Brazil when she was the Energy Minister in the Lula´s government.
My first impression is that she will govern Brazil as Margaret Thatcher has governed England ("The Iron Lady"). She seems to be very firm in her decisions. I think she will be a hard President. She works very much, too.
In her first days like President, she advised to all her staff members and Ministers on not telling her "I think that...", she wants everyone be SURE about what she asks for.
Anyway, I think she will work too much in order to prepare Brazil to the important next years, when Football World Cup and Olympique Games will be coming.

That wont be a big problem I guess. There are a lot of country that embraces that kind of leadership nowadays. Philippines once had a woman president and she really made a lot of good things. The brazilian advisers are there too so that they can guide the president. One thing about lady president is, they work so hard to let people know that they are capable leading.

We have a great hope with the new president. As Lula (ex-president) promoted her, we have high respect and hope that Rousseff could make much greater changes in Brazil. Of course, a change that would benefit it's citizens.. As of now, she's been showing good attributes that a leader must possess. I admire her integrity and firm stands about things.. Hoping for more DEVELOPMENT as she serves the country..

Dilma Rouseff is against human rights violations in Iran is going to have her country oppose them.
This makes Washington in the United states very happy and they consider her an ally in the field of
human rights!
