Default Brazil as a new superpower.

Do you think Brazil will be the superpower? ( "O Brasil grande" ).

No, I don't think so. They have no nuclear weapons. Perhaps economically though they will become a force to reckon with! :-) They have many resources and decent universities. As long as they can branch the divide of classes they stand a good chance of a bright world future!

I am a Brazilian guy and I donīt think so.

Brazil is growing fast in importance, but Brazil isnīt prepared to be a superpower like U.S.A.

We still have too many problems with the infrastructure.

Brazil has excellent Universities, but there isnīt any Brazilian University among the 100 best universities in the world.

We still have some problems in the education system, and Brazil will have to invest too much in Defense and high technology in the arms as U.S.A. do.

Nuclear weapons - it is only a question of political will.

Maybe, if they keep doing the things right and the politicians stopping messing around with the population i believe Brazil can grow stronger.

I think most countries are suffering from the consequences of corruption right now. I hope this problem in Brazil will be solved as soon as possible. God bless to our brothers in Brazil.

Brazil has an economy approximately the same as UK but with almost 4 times the population. Corruption at the top is similar to most other countries but in Brazil it also goes right down to the bottom. There is also massive poverty to go with the massive riches of Rio and Sao Paulo. In fact the massive poverty makes the massive riches possible. Most Brazilians are pessimistic about the future of the country. As one friend said to me 'Tem que matar todo mundo e comencar de novo'.

O Brasil e o pais do futuro e sempre sera.
