I have seen that movie, (Chris Garner story right) and must say that was really motivating.
There are couples of movies that are really inspiring but among them if i need to choose one, I would say "THE EDGE". This is the best motivating movie I guess, I have ever seen.

Well recently would be V for Vendetta, pretty interesting about society under control by the ruling government and a mysterious man known as V started to inspire people and going against the tyranny rule, "Remember, remember, the 5th of November"...

Ah so you all have seen it before, apart from that for animations I tend to find Lion King and most Hayao Miyazaki's works like Spirited Away to be really touching and inspiring as well.

Oh, it's one of the most popular Disney 2D animation of all time and I like the soundtracks as well, too bad we don't get much type of this movie anymore as mostly are in 3D humor these days.

2D, then the graphic won't be that amazing , i guess. As we are habituated of watching 3D's graphic. But still will give a try, as many of them have voted for this one too.

I believe most have watched Titanic but as for me I never really did watch it, just a glimpse on TV but it seems really touching and awesome movie. Do you cried while watching it? I feel it to be really love inspiring just by the trailers and reviews.

Nice topic here. Thank you for reminding me of "The Pursuit of Happyness" and V for Vendetta". My personal choice are "Men of Honor", "Braveheart" and "The Million Dollar Baby". These 3 movies are my inspiration to go on and pursue my dreams in life. It also proves that we can reach your dreams if you wanted to and work hard for your dreams to come true.

I love "the Notebook". I know it's a drama/love story. But it really makes you realize the worth of your partner.

    Inspirational for me...

I remember a movie from my high school days entitled "Cinema Paradiso" . This is a very good movie. A friendship between an old man and a little boy.

Mostly for those who can relate for example a real to life experiences. Above all being inspired in a good way is the best.

Another great inspirational movie which I consider to be #1 is: It's a Wonderful Life (1946). The hero, of course, is George Bailey (Jimmie Stewart), a man who never quite makes it out of his quiet birthplace of Bedford Falls. As a young man he dreams of shaking the dust from his shoes and traveling to far-off lands, but one thing and then another keeps him at home -- especially his responsibility to the family savings and loan association, which is the only thing standing between Bedford Falls and the greed of Mr. Potter, the avaricious local banker. However in the end George prevails and finds out that those who have friends are the richest people in the world! A great lesson in life and a timeless classic! Checxk it out if you get a chance.

One other great inspirational movie is a film starring Russell Crowe, called - "Cinderella Man".
This story takes place during the Great Depression and follows a fighter who loses everything material - his job, his home and almost his kids due to an injury but through his humility and ability to do what it takes comes back and wins the world's heavy weight championship. Here is a clip from the movie on YouTube - YouTube - ‪Cinderella Man Official Trailer HQ‬‏

Another great Inspirational movie you may enjoy is "The Mission" In this movie Jeremy Irons plays a Spanish Jesuit who goes into the South American wilderness to build a mission in the hope of converting the Indians of the region. Robert DeNiro portrays a slave hunter who is converted and joins Irons and the other Jesuits in thier mission. Later, when Spain sells the colony to Portugal, they are forced to defend all they have built against the Portugese aggressors. What a great movie!!!

i think the prestige, directed by chris nolan is an amazing example of an inspiring movie. if you haven't watched it, i strongly suggest you give it a try, and if you have, then you definitely understand what i mean when i say this movie can heavily influence anybody. another movie which deeply impressed me was the dutchess - perhaps not because of the plot, but because of the wonderful imagery, and the amazing clothes.

I like The ten commandments movie most and found very inspiring.
Great direction by Cecil B. DeMille and great acting by Charlton Heston, Anne Baxter and Yul Brynner.
