    Default Water Sports in Brazil

There are a number of water sports in Brazils that people can enjoy. From wind surfing, diving, boating, snokerling, jet competitions, you name it! The best places to get some of the action is in Florianóplis, Espírito Santo, Bahia and near to Curitiba. There are other areas, but these are the places I love. Fun is guaranteed all year round and with the lovely temperatures you do not have to worry about the cold. Lots of sunny beaches and a real tropical environment to bring family and friends.

When in São Paulo, you can try a JetSky at Guarujá beaches.

if you go to Florianopolis you can also enjoy all this activities. In the Lagoa da Conceicao you will find a lot of companies by the Avenida das Rendeiras (Rendeiras Street) providing many water sports activities. I think they banned jet ski and some areas but I am sure you will find other interesting water sports available!

Precisely. I hate water sports, I honestly can't see the point, they only ruin it for those who want some peace and tranquillity.

There are still places that you can relax without people enjoying water sports. Brazil is way too big and many beaches are still existing with people relaxing without any distractions.

I know I know, forgive my rant about water sports, maybe I'm just getting too old and just need some peace and quiet

Well, we have different likes and dislikes though. People are different and we are not the same. =)

I know that Brazil has over 4,600 miles of coastline, no wonder scuba diving in Brazil is so popular, but can you tell me if there are places to scuba dive in the interior? How about in the Amazon river basin/ That would truly be interested, but I would not want to get eaten by piranhas! lol :-)

I also want to try in Amazon rivers. Its waters are populated by the highest diversity of fish in the world, the most important source of protein for Amazon natives since the beginning of times.

Hi Danno, yes there are some kind of diving in the interior of Brazil, such as the city "Bonito", in Mato Grosso do Sul state, which has lots of fantastic and beautiful caves where you can dive and find fantastic sights.

There are other interesting caves for diving in the interior of Brazil, but I think that in "Bonito" you will find the most beautiful caves for that.

Most of them are located in Goiás and Mato Grosso states.
