Thread: Best country to visit next to Brazil

Hi, I am going to Brazil next month and I wish to visit another country in South America, would you recommend to visit Uruguay, Argentina, Paraguay or any other country? Is it easy to travel fro Rio to those countries?

Hi Jonny, the best countries to visit in South America are as following:

1. Argentina - The spanish people who dreams to see Spain in South America. Very beautiful country. Please visit "Bariloche" for ski;

2. Uruguay - A rich small country, where you can visit "Mar Del Plata", one of the best beaches of South America (rich people, beautiful people, expensive place...it would be like Monaco);

3. Chile - Has one of the best economical indicators of South America, a very developed country.

These are the best countries to see, after Brazil!

I would have to say that Argentina would be my choice to visit. Be sure to visit these areas when in
Argentina:

Buenos Aires


Iguazu Falls


Patagonia


Mendoza
Salta

Go to Buenos Aires argentina, Iguazu Falls and then pop in in the Paraguay to buy some cheap goods... And also, visit Puenta del Leste in Uruguay, it's a beautiful place as well

Well, after Rio de Janeiro, you should visit Uruguay, Argentina, and Chile. I don´t recommend you Paraguay.

From Rio de Janeiro to Uruguay you should take a plan, because if you go by car, you will take about 24 hours or more.

I think that the best countries to visit around Brazil are Argentina and Chile!

In my opinion the best country to visit next to Brazil is Uruguay! It is a beautiful, amazing country, whatever you are thinking you will find at Uruguay. Very good food, shoppings and beaches. The people are very kind and friendly.

Yes, I agree, I enjoy the pristine beaches, the atmospheric cities, the huge steaks and the happening nightlife. Also the cost is very cheap!

Yes danno123, I`d forgotten that detail... and it is an important detail! The prices are lower than Brazil... and you can find some good imported products we don`t have here. The food is very good, I recommend the Montevideo Old Market.

Chile is considered one of the best economies in South America.

Mexico! haha! Mexico is 12 hours by plane from São Paulo or Rio de Janeiro! I think we were suggesting countries near Brazil!
