Default How to get around as a tourist?

How do you recommend a tourist get around in Brazil? What's the best way? Rent a car? Bus? Taxi?

It depends how long you are staying and how much you are traveling. I usually just hire a car.

I think having a tourist guide can help a lot. But for those who love adventure, can try wandering around though are not familiar with the place.
    it's more challenging.

I think as per my experience , car is the best way to explore and if you carry gps system with you , than thats the best way to explore Brazil.

Another thing, I'm not sure about Brazil but I think that the vehicle to be used has to depend on certain situation, like are they a lot of visitors? Are they going around in cities or countryside? Do they want to visit the beach and seas?

For a tourist going to Brazil, there are a lot of options available. Brazil is a big country and flying might be more practical if time is short. Sometimes air fares are reasonable enough to compare to bus fares or to the costs of renting a car. But the cheapest option is the bus. Different types of bus services are available and the comfort varies with the cost. One may also rent a car.

That's the problem when travelling, so many places so little time . It's sad to say I haven't even been around much in my country let alone others.

Are there any tour buses that are available that are good for me to try out when we go to Brazil?

maybe you meant, "How much will it cost you if you get a tour bus?"
    or
"How much will it cost you if you get a into a guided tour?"
