Thread: Public buses in Brazil

I was wondering is it easy to get around places by using public buses in Brazil and how much would the fare cost for a certain distance?

I never board the bus while i was in Brazil. I prefer walking or either hiring a car.

Public buses are the cheapest form of transport in Brazil. The bus network covers mostly the entire country and different types of buses are available.
The cost varies with the comfort.

I see, nice to hear about it. I believe buses are known to be a cheap way of travel, especially going on far places. I wonder if the buses there follow the schedule well.
