Thread: Donkey?

Have you ever traveled anywhere by donkey? Do you even know how to ride a donkey?

I've never traveled by donkey myself, but I've seen other people do it. I prefer to walk, because it is good exercise. If I am going long distances, then I need something mechanical like a car or plane.

I doubt you will find people riding donkeys nowadays even in rural places due to vehicles and stuff, not for traveling maybe but just for the fun of it

I have never traveled by donkey. But I would love to try it once. But its hard to find one now-a-days.

Travelling by donkey is still used in some places of Africa. But I don't think it is used in Brazil any more.

I wonder if we do need to hang a carrot or something in front of the donkey to keep it moving

lol ... i laugh so hard my lungs out .

Frankly speaking if I really had the chance, maybe just maybe I'll try it out cause I think donkey are known to be lazy to move around, need some motivation

i think its the same way how you ride a horse..
some countries prefer donkeys than horses i guess..
i think theyre cheaper..not sure though..

I never saw a real donkey. I think riding a donkey just like riding horse though a donkey is much smaller.

In Nortweast of Brazil you´ll find a lot of people traveling in donkeys, I already did it myself. But today it is not really used anymore, they are leaving the poor animals on the roads in the streets for our own luck, since motobikes are so much afordables now.

Where do donkey live? In desert like camels?
