Thread: I want to come back, but finding it tricky

Hi all,

I came to natal, and stayed at Punta Negra a few years ago. This was done as a package with a UK Tour company,

I have decided i would liketo return once again, in March/April 2009,

I have searched companies that originally did the package, but alas, can find no one who travels there any longer,

we stayed in the Rifoles Praia Hotel,[excellent].

Has something happened, was it not popular with British Tourists? I have no idea why such a wonderful location would drop from major tour comapny itineries. I know when i travelled out, it was the first month, they had run excursions to natal, and perhaps it didnt take off. I would guess that the general british traveller would have maybe found it "too foreign" with no mcdonalds for dinner and only local drinks, but i found the area and Punta Negra in particular very cultural and a fantastic 'different' location.

I would consider travelling independantly, but am a little bit of a 'chicken' traveller, and prefer packages.
