I think so. Brazil is a catholic country. When watching for example movies from Brazil they are very religious. They don't forget to approach and thank God.

The number of Protestants in Brazil continuously rises. Until 1970, the majority of Brazilian Protestants were members of "traditional churches", mostly Lutherans, Presbyterians and Baptists. Since then, numbers of Pentecostal and Neopentecostal members have increased significantly.

Brazil is a catholic country. the number of old churches are so many and they are one of the best attractions of the visitors. the Christ the Redeemer statue is the symbol of religion. so we can consider that the Brazilians are traditionally religion. their traditional Samba songs and dance are also a part of their religion. meaning of Samba is related to prayer of god.
    thanks

Cool Yes, Brazilians are very religious

It cannot be disputed that Brazilians are not religious people. Most of the holidays here ( and I mean we do have mannnnnnnnnyyyyy of them) are based on religious concepts. The larger part of the population are Catholics with a small percentage going to Jews, Protestants, and other movements.

Hi Melancholic, nice to meet you!

Yes, most of Brazilian people are religious. Brazil is the most Catholic country of the world with 80% of the population, but the Protestant religion has been growing too fast in the last 2 decades, due to their preaching on TV shows. Protestants are about 15% of the population, and 5% for other religions.

When in São Paulo, please visit the 2 most famous Catholic Churches named "Nossa Senhora do Brasil" located in a noble/prime district named "Jardins", where artists, politics, VIP´s, high class usualy use for marriages, and "Catedral da Sé", one of the oldest churches of Brazil, located in the centre of São Paulo city, very beautiful one.

    God bless you in Brazil!!!

I believe that in the fifteenth century the Spanish brought Roman Catholicism to the area and it has been
the predominant religion there since. Although there is today a wide diversity there. In recent decades, Protestantism has
    entered the mix there.

Brazil religion and practices are extremely diverse and span several different belief systems and religious traditions. Brazilians enjoy complete freedom to practice their personally held religious beliefs, so the country has every religion from Catholicism to Candomble.
