Well, if you go to Floripa you will enjoy the Jurere Beach Village. Also the Accor group is very reliable like Ibis, Novotel and Sofitel. I always check with tripadvisor before booking any hotel in Brazil and any other place

Depends on where you plan to stay- Copacabana Palace is great- a bit expensive but nothing does not come without a price. Also there is the Iris, Branton and Boutique Hotel

Well, here's a few options regarding São Paulo:

1- Blue Tree Premium (I've stayed there, they got really cozy rooms that makes you feel home, plus they got a great price, considering its a luxury hotel)
2- Hotel Fasano (I've never stayed there, but it belongs to the "Fasano Family" and they've been in business for over 100 years! So that should tell you something about its quality)
3- Ibis São Paulo (Not as great as the others listed here, but certainly a cheaper alternative)

You can put it on your list too:

    (1) Sofitel Sao Paulo Ibirapuera
    (2) Fasano Hotel e Restaurantes
    (3) Casa Grande Hotel Resort and Spa

    Enjoy your stay in BRAZIL..

Do you guys know how much would it cost per day? I mean, an average amount we might spend. We are on a tight budget, that's why. Thank you.

Copacabana is simply great but it may cross your budget. if you want to stay in a budget hotel then you have to go a little deeper to the town. the hotels near the beaches always are demand able so go a little inside the town then you must get the hotel within your budget.

Porto Bay Rio Internacional Hotel which is located on Copacabana Beach in Rio De Janeiro
is a 4 star hotel. It cost around $250 a night, but really nice if you want to treat yourself.
One of the cool things I liked about it was the 20th-floor rooftop pool with a poolside bar!
