Are there any trains that go into Brazil? If so, how many? How much do they cost?

I'm sure there are some trains that cross the borders, but I think it would be hard to make trains that get around to well because of the terrain. There's mountains and all that.
Rail travel is not a really a viable way of getting to or from Brazil, but there is the Trem da Morte (Train of Death) route between Santa Cruz in Bolivia and Corumbá in Brazil, which is popular with backpackers.
Train of Death? That's sound pretty scary to me, why is it named that way? I kinda find train ride can be exciting sometimes when you have not taken before, provided with nice view of surroundings along the way.
Unlike Europe or even parts of Asia, Central and South America does not have a well developed international rail network. International train services are almost non-existent, and most journeys must generally be made by long-distance bus or plane.
Bus is a better transportation . . .
