    Cool Many new routes to Rio (GIG)

    -Lufthansa starts to Frankfurt later this year
    -British Airways will go from 3x weekly to 6x weekly to London Heathrow
    -Qatar Airways launches Doha-Rio-Buenos Aires
    -Emirates starts Dubai-Rio
    -Alitalia launches flights to Rome

    -TAM will increase to New York JFK and Frankfurt.

    Rumours that Air Canada will start service to Toronto, Turkish Airlines to Istanbul, KLM to Amsterdam and Swiss to Zurich (March 2012)

    Very good information.

    Brazil has been very searched for tourism for many years, and the big air companies has been creating direct lines to Rio and São Paulo.

    Wow! That is awesome, people are actually starting to travel again and spending more money. Hard to imagine though with the cost of fuel sky-rocketing as it is!

    I think this boom in routes has something to do with the oil industry, and especially the Pre-Sal findings.

    Great info! I know with the increase in demand things had to change a bit to ensure that things run smoothly in the upcoming years!
