When you fly, do you ever take first class? If so, how is it?

I have never traveled first class, because I would rather save my money.

I don't fly first class. I can't afford it, and I have more important things to spend my money on anyway.

Yeah, I prefer traveling in First class, because i love to enjoy every thing while i am on my vacation. Though the rates hits me hard sometime, but it is still affordable.

I never fly first class. While travelling I always try to keep my costs to a minimum. I fly in the economy class and stay at budget hotels.

Well, first class is too cozy than the economical ones. You can completely relax and the ambience is far refreshing. This is something hard to describe, you won't know untill you too try it yourself.

I have never travelled in Business/First class because of the high ticket cost. The cost of a Business/First class ticket from a US city to Rio in Brazil may cost about $3000 - $3500.

You're kidding $3000? Well I guess that's why they call Business Class but are the price similar with other airlines?

Yeah pretty much same for all except few, but again for those low-price carrier the quality of service and ambience is low.

Well not sure but I guess I would take the normal class since I'm on a vacation, that amount of money I could use it for shopping spree... anyway thanks for the info.

Yea... I have taken first class a few times. It is an amazing experience if you have never done it before. However, that doesn't mean that i always take it. It makes sense to take it for longer journeys because it is quite costly..

Wow! Good for you rohitji35. I wish I could fly in first class accommodation. Never tried it until now. What are they serving, champagne, lobsters? Just curious.

I was once got upgraded to first class. The airline lost my luggage and in return gave me free first class tickets.

It was the best ride of my life. And best of all, the airlines finally found my luggage.

I honestly don't fly first class - its too expensive to make it worth it.

If you have money to spare, traveling first class is the way to go. You are treated like royalty when you travel in first class.

    I can't afford a first-class flight.

With the current crisis, we have to save every penny we can.

what's important is you arrive in your destination as safely and comfortable as possible regardless of the seats you have paid.

I've taken first class a few times. And that's because I am not the one who pay for it anyway. Merely, its because my purpose on traveling is for business. But I think first class flight is really worth its price once your destination is quite far.

But on an ordinary travel, I prefer economy flights because that suits well on my budget.

I'm sorry but I think it's a waste of money.... to pay extra 1000USD for an international flight to seat comfy in the first class is a waste of money. Instead you could help the poverty in Brazil or help to buy some basic needs for poor familes. Bla-bla-bla...
