    Default Bringing pets over there...

Is it difficult to bring pets over there, I mean small ones like cats and such. I know it's pretty hassle in most countries.

hey nuaeman, better don't carry your pets while on the vacation because you have to look after your pets more than anything else. Besides you cannot enjoy the place as well.

I believe you're right, it's tedious to have one around and who knows my cat suddenly ran away and settle down with the local cats

Even I am not sure whether carrying pets to other countries are allowed or not...

I just went to another forum and heard you can bring pets to other countries but need to pay a rather hefty price and would need to quarantine it for like a week or so.

What pets do you have? Well for small pets like hamsters and such are easier to have around.

For dogs I wonder if most hotels would allow them in over there, your dog would be lucky to visit Brazil.

ya it obvious...but i think there are special planes in which you can keep animals and they will leave the animal by the address alloted to it...

I think that it is pretty much useless to take a pet to another country, especially when you are on vacation. They just become a hassle because you have to take care of them and feed them. It's just a pain

Firstly speak to you vet, keep all medical reports updated, see that you give all the vaccine shots & de-worming. The most important part, get a certificate that you're pet has no rabies.
