I'm not sure but I find all those countries nearby are pretty much alike when it comes to food and environment, but Venezuela, Chile and Argentina comes to my mind as I find them well known by many.

I think Panama is a good option too. It has attracted visitor since long. I have been to Panama once, so I can say its worth traveling to Panama.

Paraguay is also a must visit if you're looking for a place near Brazil. There are beautiful sights around that country as well.

Brazil actually has 10 neighboring countries so you can choose any one of them. The more popular ones are Paraguay, Uruguay, Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Peru and Venezuela.
