Thread: What visas do we need?

Hello!

Is there anyone, who has immigrated from EU to Brazil?

We are two guys, with Estonian and Lithuanian citizenships (Both are EU countries since 2004) and this years we plan to move to Brazil.
We really appreciate if someone from EU would tell his story of moving to Brazil.

to live in Brazil permanently you will need a visa, to obtain this you either invest around $50, 000 in a business, marry a brazilian, have a child with a brazilan or be over fifty years old and have a pension of around $2,000 per month, you can get a two year student visa by showing evidence of courses etc and proof you have enough money to sustain yourself for that period.

My advice woukd be to go on the normal 3 month tourist visa which you can renew for a further 3 months if you want and see if you like it in Brazil before you commit yourself to anything
