Yes, I'm learning portuguese since February.
Eu gosto do portugese muito. E lingua muito linda.
I heard that there are some differences between european and brazilian portuguese, according to me, brazilian portuguese is more simple.

Do you know something about public high schools in Brazil? What are the students like? Which are better public or private? And how much it cost per month for private school?

It is something very dificult to say, it will depend of wich city you want to live, do you have any idea about it? In Brazil we have a few of nice public schools, but maybe for you a private school would be better. Just tell me in wich city are you planing to live and I can tell you about prices.

The problem is that I can't choose the city. These days one brazilian family will contact me and I'll find out where would I go. Yeah, some other people told me that private school would be better for me. I don't know.

    Yei
There is one more interesting fact, the others told me that brazilians don't speak english. But the two of us can understand each other without problems right? My english isn't perfect, but we can talk.

    Hello everyone!
    Ola Gente!

the brazilian culture. I didn't get on very well with the brazilian culture. Because I am concrete I think, I didn't like "jeito brasileiro". I had so many problems with brazilians, starting with man, my god. I mean, I should stay longer to acostumate, but I just couldn't stand anymore.

Brazil is, great, and at the same time not so great. The city is dirty, sooooo crowded, you have no freedom, because of the violency on the streets. You can't go out alone, (if you are a girl) it's not recomended.

People will be nice with you, but just because its their culture, not because they like you. So you would never find out who truly likes you because of you, not just because you are a stranger, so you are interesting. I found some good friends, very few, and after 10 months of being there. When I finally realize how the brazilians think, and what they do because of their culture.

I would like to go back, to visit places I didn't have chance to go, like Rio, and South... But I could never live there. I had a great time in aspect of learning how the life is difficult.

I was very pessimistic in my last post.

The good side is that brazilian people is emotional, I mean, they will ask you how are you feeling and so. They will help you, but you should be extremly careful and try not to be owing anything.

The country side is beautiful. Waterfalls, mountains, really beautiful. I didn't travel much, but what I saw was amaizing.
