    Default Exchange Rate

Do you think the value of the Brazilian Reais will ever adjust back to where it once was so buying in Brazil will once again be very attractive for Americans because of the exchange rate amongst the so many other reasons one may choose Brazil as a second or retirement home ?
The rates have changed dramatically and it is cause for concern for many wanting to buy in Brazil these days.
Prices for Real Estate seem to be going up but the US Dollar seems to continue to slide and be worth less in Brazil !!!

Great question, I've been worrying about this a lot. It seems the dollar will continue its slide unless Brazil adopts a more inflationary policy (print more money).

Look at Argentina, the Argentine peso has remained more or less in the 3:1 range to the dollar, but real inflation in Argentina is about 20% per year and it's almost the same in the US (15%+ by many estimates).

Inflation in Brazil is much less so my prediction is we might even see 1:1 within the next few years.
I'm Guru. Thanks for the welcome, friends!
