Default Interested to live in Brazil

First i want to appologize for my bad English

Greetings from one small country in Europe - Croatia.

I have few questions for people that lives in Brazil, specially around Rio.

I wan't to travel to Brazil, and maybe start a new life there... People in Europe are so unsocial, so closed up and not true to them self. Too much politics and too much people in suits.

I wanna live where people knows how to fun, how to dance, how to make many new friends...

    So few questions:

    1. Are people in Brazil really so open, friendly and know how too fun?
    2. Can you live with normal job and not having too many creditis and debts?
    3. Are people tolerant do other cultures, races and religion?

    Thank You!!

I am an American and live 20 minutes outside of Rio. The people are very receptive to foreigners. It is good and bad, but mostly good. Yes you will find much warmer people and a much easier slower life style. Like anywhere you can live according to how much you make. There are alot of tourists in Rio, and speaking the language is very important. Where I live nobody speaks English. Brazil is all European decent, most people have some family members that were born in Europe at some point in there history. I made alot of money when I lived in New York and found that my social life was terrible and find that the Brazilians make less money but have much better lives with respect to fun and activities. Of course the weather is much better and you can be outside most of the time. Any information you need, please reply.

Brazil is a great place to live...however, just be aware that most people are pretty poor and its hard to make any good money in Brazil. It's an entirely different lifestyle...

What would be the best city to live in Brazil, to have a nice and calm lifestyle, with beautiful weather, comparably cheap and yes, with reasonable opportunuties of good earing aswell?
