Thread: Public Libraries in Brazil

Are there many public libraries in Brazil? I know that in the United States we pride ourselves
in providing this service to our citizens in hopes of nurturing young minds. If someone would be so kind as to introduce me with a short list of libraries and the services they provide I would be ever so grateful.
