Thread: Homosexual scene?

Is there much of a homosexual scene in Brazil? Are there places where gays can go, such as gay clubs and whatnot?

I'm not gay, so I don't know much about it. I'm sure there is, though. A site for gay people might have information about gay clubs and such. Good luck!

Speaking of it, what are the Brazilian view of this? Over here at my place it receives a serious number of negative views.

I too don't know about this. In west, gays are not looked down as done in the east. Each person has its own freedom of doing thinks as per his likes.

I see, I do find the west tend to be more open minded compare to here, but for me I don't mind as long as well you know they don't do those things to me

lol nuaeman, things to you??????well i am not gay,and what i have perceived on my travels across the globe that gays have rights in western countries and in many places gay marriages are legal unlike in the eastern ones where it is considered as an alien concept and people don't accept it in the mainframe of the society.

Well I guess for asian or here at least we don't really bother much about it but just don't tend to mix with them well.

I know people have biased view on homosexual relationship in asian countries. But is it considered as a crime, there ??

Well, at least here, in Brasília, there is a lot of places where gays can go, althought there are a lot of prejudiced peopleagainst gays and lesbians.
Bem, pelo menos aqui em Brasília há vários lugares onde os gays pondem ir, embora a população ainda tenha muito preconceito contra os gays e as lesbicas.

As far as gays are concerned they are just a pain in the bum.

Speaking of it what do you guys think? Is it due to the environment or merely due to genetics and stuffs? I heard there's no certain way to well, turn things around.

i think it is not dependent on any factor, anyone from any place can be homo,its purely an individual thing.

Here in my place, there are a lot of gay bars. Gays are even wearing dresses. There are also many gays beauty contests. How about in Brazil, do gays dress like the ladies?

Here there is all sort of gays, the ones wich wear like a woman (and it is so dificult to see the difference, take care guys!). And many wich still hide of the society. Anyway here is not different of any part of the world. The gay Parade in São Paulo is one of the biggest in the world.
