Here is a brief listing of some of the better restaurants in Macapa:

Bom Paladar Kilos - great seafood and fresh grilled meats, Peixaria Amazonas - The chef's special is a dish called - tucanaré, which means peacock bass and that is stuffed with shrimp, and then there is a fine establishment called - Peixaria Amazonas, this place is on a pier in the Amazon River and they serve mostly fish with some chicken and meat foods.

I live in São Paulo city, in the southeast region of Brazil, and I´ve never been to Macapá, a so distant city from São Paulo. Macapá is located in the north region and it is the capital of Amapá state.
