The Quinta da Boa Vista (English: Park of the Nice View) is a public park of great historical importance in the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The park was part of the gardens of the São Cristóvão Palace, the residence of the Emperors of Brazil in the 19th century. The building of the old palace hosts now the National Museum, with collections on natural history, ethnology and archaeology.

Another nice thing to do is to visit the Teatro de Arena Elza Osborne. It is the place to be if you want to catch some great music performances. They also host workshops in music concerts, dance performances, theatre and other visual arts. They were founded in 1958.

Rio Sul is one of the oldest malls in Rio, where locals and tourists go shopping, eat and work, since it is part of a huge office building. It has been recently remodeled and is close to Copacabana hotels.Check it out when you get a chance!
