Tourist Points in Palmas
There are a lot of places outside of the popular tourist destinations that have much to offer visitors to Brazil. On a documentary, some of the places to run away in Palmas are:
-Parque Cesamar
-Praia da Prata
-Feira do Bosque
There seems to be a job rush in Palmas so it is a good place to look for those that want to settle in Brazil with a stable job or those that are currently unemployed. The city is in its diaper stages for certain things, but still worth the visit.

A very nice place to visit is Serra do Lajeado. There are plenty of beautiful ecological attractions, including waterfalls, swimming holes, trails and even ancient cave paintings. Its sheer cliffs make it a popular destination for rappelling and paragliding, as well. Call the Centro de Atendimento ao Turista (CATUR) for the latest info.

The Palacio Araguaia located in the city of Palmas, Brazil was erected on the only hill in town, the Palacio Araguaia, the state capitol, looks over the plaza and Palmas itself. The lobby is decorated with huge colorful mosaics and in one corner there’s an impressive scale model of Praça Girossóis, which you can then compare to the real thing from windows on the 2nd floor.
