Thread: Do you pay attention?

It seems like most people don't pay attention to politics. Do you pay attention to politics? Do you think they are important?

I started to pay attention to politics quite long ago, and I believe they are important as it can affect our lifestyle, environment and so on.

I use to keep track what is going on, as I think it is the duty of every citizen to know and have concern about their country.

I follow the news too and discuss politics with my friends and also online, on an IRC channel. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find a Brazilian/South American focused website or chat room dedicated to discussing politics/economy but this seems to be a good place with many educated and polite people.
