In Recife there is popular club among young people called - The Downtown Pub. It features not only Brazilian music, but international music such as rock, jazz and blues. The place is always packed with a really long line outside the club. You have to get there early, because the pub can only allow around 750 people without violating the fire codes. But I do hear that this is the place to be if you love to dance and party the night away!

A great party spot on the weekends is the Pagode called Espaco Aberto. This is a really partying atmosphere I found in Recife. Beware, it is not a tourist bar and it doesn't provide the greatest security. On the other hand, I didn't find it to be very dangerous, as there are lots of bouncers.

Night life in Recife provides a plethora of escapades and bar hopping adventures with a tempting serving of food and drinks that come in cheap. The average price for the large style beer called cerveja is R$4 only. This is because Recife locals have a certain flair for festivity and unwinding with friends.

The city centre of Recife has undergone a complete change in recent times, and there are many Nightclubs and Bars that are opening and attracting tourists in huge numbers. In fact, Recife is rapidly becoming one of Brazil’s most important cultural and entertainment hubs.
