    Default Transportation in Recife

Recife has a fairly new Airport. It is a three floor airport housing many good cafes and lot´s of good shopping options. On the ground floor right by the arrival hall there is a very helpful tourist information center.

Also there is Recife's Terminal Integrado de Passageiros (TIP) which is bus terminal. Taxis are also another mode of transportation available.

Yes, Recife is the capital of Pernambuco state, located in the Northeast region of Brazil. Recife is a beach town.

Taxis and buses are the main way of transportation in Recife. You can rent a car, too.

Does anyone know of a place in Recife where me and my girlfriend can rent a couple of scooters? I really think that would be cool to see the sights, not to mention saving a ton of money on taxis! Thanks in advance.

You can take boat trips in the Recife waters, this is a great way to get to know the area. There are plenty of boat trip options you can take a look at. Go here for more information - Having a Great time with Great Activities in Recife Brazil
