    Default Nooblet With a Budget Question

    Recently retired and travelling the world. Going to Asia first and then may head out to South America. I usually plan extended stays and not short trips. From most of what I've read, seems like an average cost of living in Rio might be around $1500 US. Is that about right?

    Hmmm ... let's say renting a decent 1 or 2 bedroom condo for 6 months or so.

    Need more or less?

    will depend of what kind of life youŽll have. Life cost in Rio is expensive. But I guess that is enough.
