    Sao Goncalo is situeted in the southeastern state of Rio. Many industries like chemical and cement are situeted here.

    Are those industries situated near housing areas? I don't really like staying near those factories and such unless due to work or something.

    I do not live there, but I have heard that São Gonçalo county has been characterized as an urban endemic area for leprosy.
